Dr. Famorzadeh spent 20 years with Nuesoft Technologies as a CTO. Having helped to deliver a fully functional internet-based Practice Management System by December of 1999, he continued to work on developing an open framework that met the demands of a fast-moving cloud-based healthcare sector. Nuesoft was eventually sold to AdvancedMD where he successfully leads the AWS migration of their 20-year-old infrastructure. Prior to joining Nuesoft, Shahram worked for Conexant systems whereas as a System Architect he helped deliver the first DSLAM chipsets. For most of the 90s, he was a Research Engineer at CSSIP, Center for Signal, Speech and Image Processing at Georgia Tech, where he worked on a DARPA-sponsored project that leads him to cloud computing. His first job right after school was with Schlumberger industries as an Embedded Hardware/Software Engineer. Dr. Famorzadeh holds several patents in Healthcare and Telecommunication fields. Dr. Famorzadeh received a B.S.E.E. degree from the University of Tennessee.
